JCPENNEY JAM: THE CONCERT FOR AMERICA'S KIDS, to benefit the JCPenney Afterschool Fund, includes a multi-genre line-up of music icons. This exciting show is taking place at Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday, June 14. Those scheduled to appear include country superstars Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and Sara Evans, rock super-group 3 Doors Down, legendary vocal tenor Andrea Bocelli, multi-platinum Grammy winning artist John Legend, Latin GRAMMY winning pop star Alejandro Sanz and gifted, young vocalist Renee Olstead. In addition to these performers, JCPENNEY JAM will be hosted by entertainment powerhouses Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw, and David Foster is music director. This concert will mark the largest project ever undertaken in America to raise awareness of the need for quality afterschool programs and provide funds so that more working families have access to afterschool care.
